Laura and Jason Vogel had a dream of bringing affordable, on-trend fashion to the Twin Cities, and in 2013 they opened their first Apricot Lane Boutique in St. Cloud, MN.  It didn't take long for their dream to become a reality, and in the Spring of 2017 they expanded to Maple Grove and Mendota Heights as well as launched their online boutique.  Their fourth and fifth locations soon followed in St. Louis Park in 2018, and Baxter in 2019.  In February of 2020, their latest addition opened in Stillwater, and they have no plans of slowing down anytime soon!

Heather Flesland - Stillwater Store Manager

Heather is a life-long Minnesotan and is a seasoned retail professional- 28 years in the industry!  She started in sales in 1991 and has spent decades in various leadership positions including District Manager and Recruiting Manager. Her areas of retail expertise are in Customer Service, Employee Recruiting and Retention, Social Responsibility and Diversity and Inclusion. She joined Apricot Lane in 2016. She loves the ownership Apricot Lane Managers can have in terms of their product selections and pricing. “It’s so amazing to be able to respond so quickly to our customers’ requests!” she says.  Heather is also a wife to the best guy ever, mother of 2 equally fabulous boys, cabin owner and her #1 hobby is political advocacy.

Ellen Leach - St. Cloud Store Manager

Ellen is from the Saint Cloud area and has worked in retail for 8 years. Her favorite thing about retail is finding new ways to connect with customers, especially helping people feel amazing in their own skin! When she’s not at work, she enjoys photography, music, and boating in the summer.

Heather Wicklund - Baxter Store Manager

Heather was born in Brainerd, MN, where she still lives with her husband and three boys (two are still at home!)  She has worked in retail for 20 years, 13 of which have been following her passion in the fashion industry!  When she is not at her boutique she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside working on landscaping, and gardening.

Katie Patnode - Maple Grove Store Manager

Katie is from Maple Grove, MN and has been working in retail for 4 years. Her favorite part about retail is building connections with customers and helping them find outfits that make them feel confident. Katie is also a full time student at the University of St. Thomas. When not working or studying, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
